Be the first to watch our Ride the Trafalgar Way video

12th December 2014

Back in October 2014 we invited members of the cycling industry to accompany us on a Ride the Trafalgar Way PR Ride, in which they tackled our 500km ‘Colossus’ route from Pendennis Point Falmouth, to Admiralty House, London, in under 24 hours, need we remind you.

And tackle it they did. The team got on famously and were able to complete the full distance in just short of the 24 hour cut off, just in time for a hearty breakfast.

Cyclist Tim Wiggins also decided that completing the course as a relay was not enough for him and went on to do the full thing as a solo effort. Yes, we all agree that the man is quite simply bonkers.

And he loved every minute of it too, as he says “what an incredible journey. Less than 24 hours to complete the historic route from Pendennis Point to Admiralty House.A huge thanks to Jim Bellinger for organising everything, to all of the guys in the campervan for their incredible support, to Charlotte, Nick and the others that did a fantastic job of keeping me going out on the road. It was a weekend I will never forget.”
