At just under 200 miles long, starting in Exeter the ride includes the Jurassic coastline (a World Heritage Site), past the Hardy Monument and then the cathedral city of Salisbury. From here the ride heads towards and into the City of Westminster finishing with a ride along Whitehall to the Admiralty.

Serious consideration should be given to a ride strategy and have a plan B due to a mechanical, fatigue, the weather conditions or other factors. Riders will pass through the cities, towns and villages of Honiton, Axminster - passing along a road renamed ‘The Trafalgar Way’ in 2005, then onwards to Bridport cycling along the Jurassic Coast, Dorchester and Blandford Forum before arriving at the midway point in the cathedral city of Salisbury. From here it’s then onto Andover, Whitchurch, Overton, Basingstoke, Hartney Wintney, Camberley, Staines upon Thames Chiswick, Knightsbridge before finishing in the historic Ripley Courtyard at Admiralty House.

Team Colossus is a 24 hour team challenge starting at Pendennis Castle, Falmouth and finishing in London. The route is just under 500km, 307.10miles long, and follows the route of Britannia, Conqueror and Victory combined. Teams may have a solo or two riders on the route at any one time taking it in turns to ride a stage of the route. Teams collectively ride the first mile (Grand Depart) and the last mile (Grand Arrivée) together as a team.

  • Minimum average speed requirement: 15 - 17.5 mph over the entire distance. This is on the basis of c3h30mins - 6h30mins of stationary time (Aid Stations, mechanicals etc) across the entire route or c15 - 30minutes at each Aid Station or longer with fewer stops. Serious consideration should be given to a ride strategy and have a plan B due to a mechanical, fatigue, the weather conditions or other factors. Teams can have either a solo or two riders on the route at any one time and may swap riders at the designated rendezvous points at the Aid Stations. The exception to this rule is for the Grand Depart and Grand Arrivée.

Serious consideration should be given to a ride strategy and have a plan B due to a mechanical, fatigue, the weather conditions or other factors.

    All riders (including all members of any team undertaking Colossus) rendezvous at the start at Pendennis Castle, ready for the Grand Depart. Solo riders and Colossus teams roll out of Pendennis Castle together. At this point all Solo riders and one or two Colossus team riders continue to follow the designated cycling route to Rendezvous 1 at Fraddon. Meanwhile the rest of the team ride a lap of Pendents Point and then load their vehicle and follow the designated vehicle route along the A30 to Rendezvous 1 at Fraddon. Conqueror is a solo ride just over 100 miles long. Starting in Exeter, the ride takes in Honiton, Axminster, Bridport, Dorchester and Blandford Forum before finishing in Salisbury.

Riders will pass through the towns of Honiton, Axeminster - passing along a road renamed The Trafalgar Way in 2005 then onwards to Bridport, Dorchester and Blandford Forum before finishing in the cathedral city of Salisbury.

  • As Conqueror is an A to B ride, rather than a loop, we advise that riders bring a small lockable kit bag/ruck sack with dry kit in to the start line. This bag will be transferred to the finish in Salisbury on your behalf. Please note whilst care will be taken to look after the bag, riders using this facility do so at their own risk and should not place items of high value or importance inside.

Team Colossus is a 24 hour, non-stop, team challenge starting at Pendennis Point, Falmouth and finishing in London. The route is just under 312 miles (500km) long, and follows the route of Britannia, Conqueror and Victory combined.

  • Event Type: Team relay, on open roads, following the same designated route as Britannia, Conqueror and Victory. The ride is just under 500KMs long and teams are required to complete the route under under 24 hours. Riders should also expect to ride throughout the night.
