What was your reason for wanting to ride the Trafalgar Way?

Wanted to raise money for the Yorkshire Center Psychological Medicine who saved my sister-in laws life and needed it to be a big challenge for me to be able to raise some money.

How would you sum up your ride of the Trafalgar Way to a friend?

Emotional, draining, exciting, brutal, wet but most of all memorable.

What was your most memorable part of the ride?

The obvious answer is the finish but riding by moonlight along the Dorset coast was pretty sweet…

What are your top 3 tips for anyone thinking of riding the Trafalgar Way

Train smart and make sure you go and find some hills in training also if you can find the time go a do a 200 miler it breaks the mental barrier of 100 miles being a long way.

What are your top bits of equipment or kit you wouldn’t want to ride the Trafalgar Way without?

Decent waterproof, good front light with spare battery and navigation devise if you can stretch to one takes the worry out of finding your way.
