What was your reason for wanting to ride the Trafalgar Way?

I’m a sucker for a route with historical context, in which this route is dripping.

How would you sum up your ride of the Trafalgar Way to a friend?

Really good fun! Although some of that is of type 2. It’s a great route, and gives you a real sense ofjourney.

What was your most memorable part of the ride?

Riding the ridgeline along Melbury downs (between Blandford and Salibury) at sunset.

What are your top 3 tips for anyone thinking of riding the Trafalgar Way?

1. Do some hill training!

2. Travel light!

3. Try and enjoy the journey!

What are your top bits of equipment or kit you wouldn’t want to ride the Trafalgar Way without?

All you need is a bike! Everything else is a luxury.
