What was your reason for wanting to ride the Trafalgar Way?

Looked a small and friendly event rather than a mass road warrior affair. Also met my ratio of ‘difficulty to allowable time from family’.

How would you sum up your ride of the Trafalgar Way to a friend?

Incredibly friendly and supportive team, beautiful countryside on a great route.

What was your most memorable part of the ride?

Seeing the Jurassic coast stretching from Weymouth in front to Lyme Regis behind, all illuminated by the moon.

What are your top 3 tips for anyone thinking of riding the Trafalgar Way?

Get hilly miles in the bank. Be prepared for all weather conditions. Look around and enjoy it.

What are your top bits of equipment or kit you wouldn’t want to ride the Trafalgar Way without?

Waterproof :-(
